Saturday was a gorgeous gorgeous day in the botanical gardens Geelong- there was buckets of sunshine, lots of smiles and a few little surprises thrown in for good measure.
As my first family portrait session of the day unfolded 3 beautiful little ladies donned some sparkles and tutus and went exploring through the winding pathways. One particular little ballerina was trying to spot some fairies throughout the gardens- as you do when frolicking through the garden. This comment cracked me up completely - I had to try really hard to keep photographing the innocent expressions that went with it.....
" Yes, I can really really really see a real fairy! Just there ! there ! It is big and white. Look! " ...... why is that so memorable you ask?
Well... the white fairies that were spotted were actually mighty huge mossies buzzing around and eating all of us alive!
In between the mossies and the "big white fairies" we managed to capture some stunning portraits of a divine family. Lots of fun!
